Ok, so i watched a few more of the larger E3 pressers and have had my brain filled with gaming based goodness - and badness - coming in the next 12-18 months. Here’s how i reacted to the rest of the conferencess i watched in the format of the Fail Scale.
I’ve also added elements from the Microsoft Conference, even re-evaluating some with a little bit more of a mature outlook.
Seems a long while since i posted, although a week isnt exactly a long time it’s been one of my longer breaks in writing.
Anyway, it’s been an odd week and a bit mainly because it’s buggered off so fast. The end of last week was normal as weeks go and i went out drinking on Saturday which was pretty decent as i’d not been out for a few bevies since well before Christmas. At the beginning of the week i had the joys off finishing a Java assignment which didnt go well at all.
Fairly sure i’ve failed that one, actually.
On the subject of assignments though I’m pretty pleased at the moment as i got a 2i for my database essay, considering i don’t bother with the lectures i think that’s pretty good? Also for my group project i rant about frequently we managed to get a pretty solid mark and are second highest group in the stream of 6. We got only around 6 marks less than number 1 and are a good 20 marks ahead of the rest of the pack.
Now, onto the car.
Mr Steve (my automobile) was in the garage on Wednesday finally getting my knackered drivers seat fixed which is great as i no longer have to gansta’ lean when i drive and can take corners at proper speeds again - i’d had to break and stuff…. eww. It did set me back about £100 though which was less ace than the repair. Think i will be throwing some more money away soon as I’m going to treat the car to a full in/exterior valet in the next week or so.
I’m now sat at home after being stupidly coughy today which sucks, woke up unable to speak barely and unable to swallow without suffering great pain. Went to uni to get some marks (group project) and left as i’d only annoy the fuck out of my last lesson’s class as I’m coughing all the bloody time and hacking bits of my lungs up im sure.
Week off work next week though! Woo!
Have borrowed Assassin’s Creed so hopefully get through a fair bit of that.
